Condition and operational status for vehicles and assets at a glance

The new “status display” functionality in the asset management solution zedas®asset simplifies operational planning for vehicles and assets by clearly displaying the availability of them.

The condition information of the items, which the zedas®asset maintenance software already manages, form the basis for this. This includes relevant maintenance periods, faults recognised or the status of jobs which are processed in the workshop, for example. Technical information from vehicles can also be evaluated.

The underlying set of rules allows a quick status overview through an intuitive traffic light display (red/yellow/green). The condition of the selected type is shown quickly and clearly, e.g. operational, not operational or conditionally operational, and can be manually edited as required. Key information from the asset management system is handed over via interfaces to the dispatch systems and is available to the dispatchers for efficient and reliable operational planning. Planning of the necessary maintenance actions for assets and vehicles which are not operational can also be optimised.
